Taylor got a camera for Christmas. He cracks us up with it. It's fun to see what he takes pictures of, the angles, etc...

Roseville's Rose Parade
The City of Roseville is 100 years old this year. They entered this float in the rose parade. Every where we went there were bottles for the kids to put pennies in. Somewhere my kids names are each on this. Since Chris works for the railroad they got to do this. The Union Pacific is still the largest employer in Roseville. That's why the float is a train. Anyway, it was a fun thing for us.
Our Inauguaration Party
Obviously, the kids had a blast!
Some of our partiers.
Amos and Christian see no evil.
A short break from hard play.
Sometimes adults like to sit and let their kids go crazy and we call it a party.
And So it Begins
What an amazing day in history. I am pretty much speechless, but still so thankful for the right to participate in the voting process and see democracy at work. My heart is full of joy.
My parents have instilled what an amazing blessing it is to live in this country, "The Promised Land" and the obligation that we have to help choose what kind of country we want this to be by participating in the political process in any way that we can. We were also taught to respect and support our leaders, whether we agree with them or not.
I remember the day that my mom took us out of school to see President Reagan's limo drive down the street in Cheyenne Wyoming. Thanks, Mom.
President Obama is the second great man that I have helped vote into office, and I hope not the last.
