Taylor's Pics

Taylor got a camera for Christmas. He cracks us up with it. It's fun to see what he takes pictures of, the angles, etc...

Peep Show

Lylee was supposed to be taking a nap. Yeah, right. Her room is right by the front door, so neighbors and visitors get a kick out of her.

Class Projects

This is Taylor and his Snowman that was his January "family project". This was fun, even Grandma Vicki got in on the act to help with the glitter!

For February T was given this big purple heart to cover with the things that he loves. We finished it this afternoon. He loves "art projects" and loves to draw, color, stamp and build things. He got Moon Sand for Christmas and LOVES it!

Pancake Party

Taylor has been asking for pancakes for several days, and he has been very patient for a four year old. We decided to reward him with a very rare but spectacular treat, chocolate chip pancakes!!!!!

A quick look at my cuties.

Roseville's Rose Parade

The City of Roseville is 100 years old this year. They entered this float in the rose parade. Every where we went there were bottles for the kids to put pennies in. Somewhere my kids names are each on this. Since Chris works for the railroad they got to do this. The Union Pacific is still the largest employer in Roseville. That's why the float is a train. Anyway, it was a fun thing for us.

Our Inauguaration Party

My kids were waiting anxiously at the door for their guests!

Obviously, the kids had a blast!

Some of our partiers.

Amos and Christian see no evil.

A short break from hard play.

Sometimes adults like to sit and let their kids go crazy and we call it a party.

See? Don't they look happy?

Wow! Amos is really getting in the spirit!

What a cute bunch! This is Taylor and Lylee plus some of their favorite friends who live across the street. They were just excited to get to play together!

Taylor LOVES Daddy!

We caught an actual family pic before we got started. This makes everything worthwhile!
Really, thanks to everyone who was able to come. We had a great time. We look forward to more get togethers in the future. We love our family and friends!

And So it Begins

What an amazing day in history. I am pretty much speechless, but still so thankful for the right to participate in the voting process and see democracy at work. My heart is full of joy.
My parents have instilled what an amazing blessing it is to live in this country, "The Promised Land" and the obligation that we have to help choose what kind of country we want this to be by participating in the political process in any way that we can. We were also taught to respect and support our leaders, whether we agree with them or not.
I remember the day that my mom took us out of school to see President Reagan's limo drive down the street in Cheyenne Wyoming. Thanks, Mom.
President Obama is the second great man that I have helped vote into office, and I hope not the last.

Little Sickies

Both kids are sick today. Taylor is really mad at me because I wouldn't let him go to school today. So here they are tucked into the couch watching cartoons.

Big or Little

Lylee is at one of those points in life where she wants to be big and little at the same time. She loves to snuggle into the rocking chair in our room. Then, on the other hand she is thinking that she would like to try and go potty (she is still just experimenting).

Wanna Come Play?

It was rainy and icky outside the other day, but the kids wanted to play something different, so we decided to build a fort in Lylee's room.
They sat in there singing and telling each other stories all afternoon!

Christmas Stars

Taylor has wanted a camera since last Christmas. It's really fun and takes real pictures!

Taylor's new official football!

Lylee got a new ride!

Aren't these fun? Jac, and Hyrum got them for the kids.
Another unconventional new fun thing!

Wahoo! Lylee loved watching everyone open their gifts even more than opening her own.

So, this is the famous Bat Cave that we have heard about for months. It is pretty awesome, like a super amazing doll house for super heroes! I think that Taylor has gotten everyone to play Bat Man with him!

Welcome to My Tea Party

Who knew that a $4.00 toy could make one little girl so happy? We have tea parties every day. When I went to get Lylee this morning, she was just sitting at her table fixing some tea. Ever the hostess she invited me to the party.

The Kids' Trees

A fun little tradition. I bought these when I saw the palm trees. I just wish that they had the purple for Lylee!
