Once upon a time...

There was a baby girl who was happy to stay in her crib...

Very happy,

It was even good for teething...

Doesn't she look peaceful? Unfortunately the peace didn't last long enough for Mommy and Daddy. The little girl decided to escape her baby prison,

Mommy turned the crib around to keep the little girl inside for a little while longer. That's how long it lasted a little while, like two days. Mommy and Taylor found Lylee climbing out of the highest part and we dicided that it was time for a change...

Our baby is turning into a little girl! Lylee loves her new bed! She is actually doing really well, especially considering the fact that she's not quite 18 months old. I love being able to actually tuck her in at night!

The great escape... and a mouse in the house!

My kids are funny. Earlier this afternoon, I heard Chris say, "What in the world??" So I jumped up to see what was going on. I met Chris in the hallway, just outside of Lylee's door. He was holding the big block of Tillamook cheese with several little boy bites out of it. While we were laughing, we heard Lylee in her room (she was supposed to be having a nap). Chris opened the door and there is Lylee, in her diaper sitting right smack in the middle of her room playing. She just gave us a big smile and ran to hug Daddy, since he had just gotten home from work.

Now we have two dilemas, should we get a toddler bed? Or just wait and see how often she climbs out of the crib? She's just shy of 18 months old, I wasn't ready for this one.

Taylor LOVES to get things from the fridge. I guess it makes him feel big (he says that he is medium, not big or small). Yesterday he dropped one of the giant apple juice bottles, it didn't really spill, until Chris noticed that the bottle was leaking. We've thought about putting a lock on the fridge, but Chris' brother Jamie has one on his fridge and Taylor had no problem opening it. The kid locks on the cupboards are a complete joke too.

Na Na Na Na....

~ na na na na... hey hey goodbye!!!!

Okay, I L-O-V-E my kids, but it has been a very, very long time since I have been able to sit through Sunday School or Relief Society by myself and actually pay attention to a lesson. To tell the truth, Lylee has been completely bored at church with me for the last couple of months. So it was a great day for both of us today when Lylee got to go to nursery! She made it through the whole two hours with complete joy (except for a stinky diaper)!!!

There are no words...

This fourth and final book in the "Twilight" saga. This is a fantastic journey for characters that I have grown to care for. I also got to see the trailer for "Twilight" the movie at the theater today when I went to see "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2" with my mom and sister. (I loved the movie, if anyone liked the first movie, you'll like the sequel!)
I'm going to read the whole series through again. I also read that she would like to do 2 sequels to The Host!

So who wants to meet me at the theater on December 12???

Fun and Games for All

Chris and I had a blast rockin' out on Rock Band with Chris' brothers and their awesome wives that we just had to get it for ourselves when we got home!

The kids got some awesome boxes to play with (How long will they love boxes as much as what's inside???) Chris and I have had fun playing with Jac and Pete. Even Grandpa Bob has taken a stab at it.

Fun! Fun! Fun!!! And no talent required!!!

Pooped, finally.

The kids were so great on the way home. Seriously, they were sleeping or playing. We may have to take them on our next trip!

Welcome to the Zoo... The Hogle Zoo!!!

All nine Anderson cousins got to come with us!!! It was so fun!! Next time there will be 11!

This cool sphere is a favorite stop.

Lylee felt the need to lean her forehead against the cool sphere.

This is a perfect example of Taylor and Lexi together. They are so funny, like two peas in a pod.

I know it's kind of wrong, but it is so fun to eavesdrop on these two and their conversations. One of their favorite things to play is Diego and Alicia. Bailee likes to join and be Baby Jaguar.

Hunter and Taylor chillin' out with the big gorilla.

This is the new baby giraffe!

All of the cousins on the elephant scale. Tildy, Bailee, Adam, Taylor, Lexi, Kenyon, Hunter, Elise and Lylee in the middle of the front.

Thanks everyone for sharing so much time with all of us!

I just had to include this one of Taylor talking to the peacock, since he insisted that we take a picture. He's so funny how he talks to animals just like they are human!
