Grandpa Jay Graff's Funeral

Lylee, Chris, Grandma Cathy and Taylor

Cassie and Lylee

Uncle Jacky and Chris

Uncle Jared and Chris
(Grandpa Jay liked Christopher so much that he decided he needed one more baby, so we have Uncle Jared!)

Taylor, Grandma Annie, Chris and Lylee

Taylor looking down the whole that they put the coffin into. He's very concerned about Grandpa Jay being down there.

Apparently, Grandpa Jay was concerned too. He's in the middle of the field all by himself because he didn't want to be near any trees and those stinkin' squirrels! (Yes, this is completely true! He was a character!)

Chris and Grandma Annie

Saying Goodbye

Lylee and Aunt Ashley

Grandma Cathy wanted to play some of her dad's favorite hymns and she loved being surrounded by her grandkids.

It was a beautiful day, a beautiful service and a wonderful send off to a man that was loved and respected by so many people.

Thank you so much for sharing a bit of your life with us. I too am going to miss Uncle Jay. His children were his and Aunt Annie's life. Thanks once again.

So glad you took pictures at the funeral - I always think they are so tender to look back on but sometimes the moment is so emotional that pictures are forgotten. What a great memory to have!
